What I'm doing now

A living page — inspired by nownownow.com. Last updated April 2026.

Building the next Teyra product

Working on a new iOS utility app that's been in my head for months. Deep in prototyping — the core interaction feels right, now it's about polish. Targeting a Q3 2026 App Store launch.

Updating PhotoPainter

Working on v2.0 of PhotoPainter with new filter presets, a redesigned UI, and performance improvements from rewriting the Core Image pipeline. Testing with beta users now.

Writing more regularly

Committing to one blog post per month. Working on a piece about building an indie API service from scratch — pricing, infra, documentation, and the stuff no one talks about.

Reading

Currently reading The Mom Test by Rob Fitzpatrick (rereading, actually — always worth it) and Scaling People by Claire Hughes Johnson. Trying to read one technical and one non-technical book per month.

Attending WWDC 2026

Heading to Cupertino in June. Looking forward to meeting other indie developers in person. If you'll be there, reach out — always happy to grab coffee.

Improving Teyra's API infrastructure

Migrating services to a more resilient architecture. Documenting everything properly this time — developer experience matters and I've been neglecting it.

Focus for Q2 2026

Ship PhotoPainter v2.0. Launch the new app in beta. Write 2 technical blog posts. Attend WWDC and two community meetups. That's the list — keeping it short intentionally.

Not doing
Not taking on freelance work right now. Focused entirely on Teyra products.
Not starting new side projects. Finishing what I've already started.
Not doing speaking engagements outside of the ones already listed on the Events page.
